Brookline Police Warn Drivers Of Downed Wires On Route 9
Brookline police are asking the public to avoid Route 9 between Hammond St. and Chestnut Hill Ave. due to a fallen utility pole.

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline police are warning residents of downed wires on a section of Route 9.
Drivers are being told to avoid Route 9 between Hammond St. and Chestnut Hill Ave. Outbound traffic is being detoured via Reservoir Rd. and inbound traffic will follow a detour at Hammond St.
The alert is the second report of downed wires in Brookline this week after a utility pole snapped in half on Heath St. Monday morning.
