SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Drivers are being told to avoid Route 9 between Hammond St. and Chestnut Hill Ave. Outbound traffic is being detoured via Reservoir Rd. and inbound traffic will follow a detour at Hammond St. The alert is the second report of downed wires in Brookline this week after a <a href="https://patch.com/massachusetts/brookline/brookline-police-urge-public-avoid-area-downed-wires" target="_blank" rel="noopener">utility pole snapped in half</a> on Heath St. Monday morning. Police say Heath St. has not yet reopened following Monday's incident. No further information has been released.
