Brookline Rep. Tommy Vitolo Endorsed By Former Gov. Mike Dukakis

BROOKLINE, MA — Former Governor and Brookline resident Mike Dukakis has endorsed Rep. Tommy Vitolo in his reelection campaign.
Dukakis made the announcement Sunday at Vitolo's 2022 Spring Social, a hybrid event that saw 100 attend in-person and another 50 on Zoom.
"It's great to see so many young people here," Dukakis told the crowd. "I have enormous respect and admiration for Tommy. He's the kind of state legislator you want in that place. We want to ensure that he continues to make his mark in that State House."

In addition to Governor and Kitty Dukakis, the Spring Social was also attended by Secretary of State Bill Galvin, DA Michael Morrissey, State Representatives Ruth Balser, Kevin Honan, and Jeff Roy, LG candidate Bret Bero, AG candidates Shannon Liss-Riordan and Quentin Palfrey, candidate for Auditor Chris Dempsey, and candidate for Norfolk County Commissioner Paul Yorkis. Three of Brookline's five Select Board members were in attendance as well, including Chair Heather Hamilton.
"It's such a lift to be with so many supporters," said Vitolo. "I'm proud of my accomplishments at the State House on equity, on education, and on the environment, and I'm eager to continue the work."
