Brookline Resident Celebrates College Enrollment of Dorchester Students
Simon Taylor, who serves on the board of College Bound Dorchester, attended the organization's Matriculation Celebration earlier this week.

BROOKLINE, MA – Brookline's Simon Taylor saw 50 Bowdoin-Geneva residents off to college Tuesday, students who came a long way from previously being deemed "least likely to succeed."
Taylor serves on the board of College Bound Dorchester, which held its fourth annual Matriculation Celebration Tuesday, honoring students ages 19 to 30 who enrolled in either a community college or four-year university.
The organization turns formerly failing students into role models within their community; its aim is to make college graduation the rule for Dorchester youth, rather than the exception.
