Over the next few months, Ngo-Miller will work with Superintendent Linus Guillory and Office of Student Services (OSS) team to determine the best path forward for the leadership of OSS.
"The recently completed Special Education Program Review presents a clear-headed assessment of our program’s strengths, accomplishments, and areas for growth, and I am confident that I have positioned the department for a successful future,” Ngo-Miller said. "The social emotional learning (SEL) work OSS has engaged in this year has already begun to reap benefits by way of added therapeutic supports to all students. Our strong team of nurses have also expertly navigated the pandemic to allow the district to open its doors and safely operate, keeping in-person learning a priority."
