BROOKLINE, MA — The Driscoll School in Brookline is closed Friday due to poor air quality stemming from a large fire at a commercial building in Brighton.

After consulting with the Brookline Fire Department, the district decided that there was too much residual smoke in the air to safely keep the school open.

Driscoll School families will be given more details and an update over the next few days as the district receives further information from the town.
