Brookline Schools Remain Open Despite Extreme Cold Temps
All outdoor activities have been moved indoors Tuesday.

BROOKLINE, MA — All Brookline public schools and offices are open Tuesday despite extremely cold temperatures recorded throughout the Greater Boston area, said Superintendent Linus Guillory.
Although school is going on as usual, all outdoor recess and activities, including lunches, have been moved indoors.
"Please be mindful of the extreme weather and ensure that you and your student (s) are properly bundled up as they make their way to school,” said Guillory in a letter to families Monday. "Hats, scarves, mittens/gloves, and warm overcoats are all essential."
