Sarah E. Shepro, a resident of Brookline, MA, has been named to first honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2012 semester.

To be eligible for first honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s).

Area residents earn second academic honors from Clark University

The following local residents were named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2012 semester.

To be eligible for second honors, students must have a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79, of a maximum of 4.3.

Jo Crehan Enjoying Berklee College of Music Five-Week Program

Singer Jo Crehan from Boston, Massachusetts was accepted to sing in the pop/rock ensemble that will be performing at the Berklee Performance Center Blowout concert at the end of the Five-Week Summer Performance Program.

As the largest and most comprehensive summer music program, the Berklee Five-Week Summer Performance Program offers classes, workshops, rehearsals, private instruction, labs, and even performances for all sorts of musicians. Local and international students accepted to the program receive the opportunity to study with Berklee faculty, get to know Boston, and get a head start on their full-time studies.

Binghamton University students receive academic honors

The following students received academic honors from the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences at Binghamton University by making the University's Dean's list for the Spring 2012 semester:
