Brookline Students Graduate From University Of Rhode Island
URI awarded degrees to over 4,000 students at its 135th Commencement.
BROOKLINE, MA — The University of Rhode Island (URI) has announced its 2021 graduates, including four students from Brookline who now hold bachelor's degrees.
URI celebrated over 4,000 students at its 135th Commencement, which was held over three days from May 21 to 23. More than 3,700 undergraduate degrees and 680 graduate degrees were awarded during nine individual ceremonies.
The following Class of 2021 students from Brookline received degrees at the ceremony:

- Timothy Chadwick Anastas of Brookline received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, RN to BS.
- Emma Cohen of Brookline received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
- Anita Hazel Mayfield-Sheehan of Chestnut Hill received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
- Naomi Sarah Pajarillo of Boston received a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology.
URI was founded in 1892 and offers 203 academic programs in various disciplines. The school has over 14,500 undergraduate students and 2,250 graduate students from 48 states and 76 countries. For more information, click here.
