The Brookline Music School Chamber Orchestra, conducted by David Tierney, presents a program of music by Mozart, Vivaldi, and Schubert.
The concert begins with Mozart’s Overture to Idomeneo, the opera he completed in 1781 for the Munich carnival season. Flutist Hayley Miller then joins the orchestra for the Presto from Vivaldi’s Flute Concerto in F Major. The program concludes with Schubert’s Symphony No. 6 in C Major, which he wrote in 1817–18, at the age of twenty.
