Firefighter Joe Hingston carried a woman to safety after her car got stuck in three feet of water.

A chivalrous Brookline firefighter carried a woman to safety after her car got stuck on a flooded road Monday morning.

Storms caused massive flooding across the region Monday; a tornado was even reported in Revere.

The woman got trapped on Boylston Street in about three feet of water. Firefighter Joe Hingston carried her across the flooded road to dry land. The Fire Department tweeted a photo.
