DeNo's Pizza to be Replaced by a Weymouth Favorite: Brother's
Brother's Roast Beef and Pizza of Weymouth -- and three other locations -- will come to Brookline in March.

Cypress Street welcomes yet another pizza and sub shop. DeNo’s Pizza will be replaced by the fifth location of Brother's Roast Beef and Pizza in March.
“I’ve always liked [Brookline] and now we have the opportunity to come there,” said Melsi Xhengo, owner of Brother's.
Brother's Roast Beef and Pizza has been popular in Weymouth, Quincy, Abington and Malden, but the Brookline location may be troubling, as the location at 293 Cypress Street does not get much foot traffic. DeNo’s only survived there for about a year.

Xhengo said he does not think the location will be a problem.
“Nobody wants to go in thinking they’re going to fail,” Xhengo said.

Xhengo projects the Brookline shop will be successful because of the town’s high concentration of families. He said he is confident Brookline residents will enjoy Brother's.
“I think once people try the food, they will come back,” Xhengo said.
Brother’s is known for its especially cooked roast beef, but the eatery also serves a wide range of subs, including one of their most popular items, the grilled chicken kabob.
The new Brookline location will have takeout, delivery, and a dining area with 18 seats.
The space at 293 Cypress Street is being renovated. Xhengo was just granted a restaurant license on Feb. 15.
After more than two years of planning, Xhengo said he is eager to bring his food to Brookline.
“I’m really, really excited,” he said. “This might be our busiest store.”
Xhengo expects the restaurant will open in the first week of March.
