Winner of the 2007 Man Booker Prize for her novel The Gathering, Anne Enright is also author of The Pleasure of Eliza Lynch, What Are You Like?, and The Wig My Father Wore, and two collections of short stories, Yesterday’s Weather and The Portable Virgin, which won the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature. Enright edited and wrote the introduction for The Granta Book of the Irish Short Story, which is due out in the United States this year. Her work has appeared in The Paris Review, Harper’s Magazine, The New Yorker, London Review of Books, and The Penguin Book of Irish Fiction.
