Care for Caregivers Lecture at BA&CE

Caring for a family member can be both rewarding and stressful. Whether you are caring for a child, parent, or spouse, or you are a healthcare professional, the key to reducing stress and burnout from caregiving is finding appropriate relaxation methods and recognizing the importance of your own well-being. On this evening, we will discuss techniques such as progressive relaxation, deep breathing, mindfulness, and movement and learn how to give ourselves permission to relax both mind and body. You will leave with a sense of renewal and new ways to care for yourself while caring for others.
