National Solar Tours Open House

The American Solar Energy Society's National Solar Tour opens thousands of homes and buildings throughout the country to provide the public with an opportunity to experience solar power, solar heating, cooling, and hot-water, wind power, daylighting, and green building technologies.  The Clay Center is pleased to participate in this annual event.

Members of the general public are welcome to attend between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Ample free parking near the building. Children are welcome but no pets are permitted on the property. Light refreshments will be served.

The Clay Center Observatory will also be open for tours. Solar telescopes will be available, weather permitting. Staff from the Clay Center will give on-going presentations and tours.
