Preschoolers and their parents are invited to a unique event on Tuesday, December 7 from 1:30-2:30 pm at the Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston, 60 Stein Circle. Teaching our children the meaning of a mitzvah is at the heart of this PALS Program. Teddy Town is bringing its teddy bear stuffing machine to us, but there is more to the bears we will create than just fluff. Each child will make one furry friend to take home and a second plush teddy to donate to young friends in need through Bears Who Care, an organization that gives new stuffed bears to disadvantaged and sick children. We will stitch up the afternoon with a story about Chanukah.
