With recipes and stories to savor of Holocaust survivors from around the world, this presentation will fascinate and touch you deeply. It will also be "an opportunity to honor the courage, determination, intelligence and fortune of those survivors." The Holocaust Survivor Cookbook by Joanne Caras is a collection of recipes and memories so poignant that the food transforms into a vehicle of connection. Dozens of stories of determination and sacrifice are served with a side of authentic Jewish cuisine, which has its roots in many countries.
For the past three years, Joanne has worked tirelessly to create and promote the Holocaust Survivor Cookbook. She has appeared on Fox TV, CBS, and national radio
and has given speeches all across the country.
