Firefighters Battle 3-Alarm House Fire In Brookline
Firefighters were called to a home at 52-54 Beaconsfield Rd. shortly before 9 a.m. Saturday.
BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline firefighters spent more than an hour Saturday battling a house fire on Beaconsfield Road, according to authorities.
Firefighters were called to a home at 52-54 Beaconsfield Rd. shortly before 9 a.m. When they arrived at the house, they found smoke and heavy fire coming from the roof of a two-story home. The home's four occupants escaped the fire unharmed, authorities said.
Firefighters sought to control the fire by fighting it from the interior and venting multiple holes in the roof, authorities said. A second alarm was called followed by a third due to cold temperatures.

The fire was under control by 10:30 a.m. No one was injured in the blaze.
The home sustained heavy fire damage on the second and third floors as well as water damage on the first floor, authorities said.
