Home Care Worker Arrested on Fraud Charges: Report

Brookline Police suspect Allison Green of stealing money from her patient.

Brookline, MA – A home health care worker was arrested Friday for allegedly stealing money from a patient in her care.

Allison Green, 35, of Hyde Park, was charged with credit card fraud and larceny, the Brookline TAB reported.

Police believe Green charged $12,000 on a credit card belonging to a disabled elderly woman she had worked for since March, according to the TAB. The woman discovered the fraud after her accountant reported suspicious activity on her credit cards.

During an investigation prompted by the woman's personal aide, police uncovered security footage of Green allegedly withdrawing money on the card, the TAB reported.

Deputy Superintendent Michael Gropman told the TAB that Green has been arrested before for similar crimes.
