ICYMI: Brookline Forum on Race and Community to Be Held Wednesday Night
The aim of the meeting is to identify challenges the community faces regarding race outline possible steps to take to address them.

BROOKLINE, MA - The Town of Brookline will host a public forum Wed., May 4 to discuss race relations within the community.
The meeting will be the last of three events held as part of the "What's the Big Idea? Forum on Race and Community."

Wednesday's event, titled "World Cafe: A Discussion of Race in Brookline," invites students, educators, parents, community members and town officials to collaborate on identifying and addressing challenges the town faces regarding race.
"The World Cafe is built on the assumption that people already have within them the wisdom and creativity to confront even the most difficult challenges; that the answers we need are available to us; and that we are wiser together than we are alone," according to the announcement on the Brookline town website.

"What's the Big Idea?" will be held by the BHS 21st Century Fund in conjunction with BHS PTO, Steps to Success, Brookline METCO Program, Brookline Interactive Group and members of the BHS faculty.
