ICYMI: Brookline Toy Store Holding Pop-Up Sale After Owner's Passing
Irving's Toy & Card Shop will hold the one-time sale Labor Day weekend; all proceeds will go to the Devotion School PTO.
BROOKLINE, MA – A Brookline landmark is reopening for a limited time Labor Day weekend for a pop-up sale of its remaining items.
Irving's Toy & Card Shop operated in Brookline for 77 years until the death of owner Ethel Weiss last December at age 101.
Labor Day weekend, it will hold a pop-up sale of vintage greeting cards, board games, plastic toys and candy. Following the sale, it will donate the remainder of its inventory to charity.

The sale will take place Thursday, September 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday, September 2 to Sunday, September 4 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All proceeds will go to the Edward Devotion Elementary School PTO.
