Brookline Fireworks On July 4? Where To See Em

Your guide to the local Fourth of July firework celebrations in and around Brookline.

BROOKLINE,MA — It's almost Fourth of July and that means fireworks. But where can you go watch and when are they, anyway? We've got you covered. Brookline doesn't set off fireworks, but there are two prime spots people go in Brookline to try to catch a glimpse of Boston's display.

Check out the top of Larz Anderson Park. But get there early to find a good spot. In recent years the trees have obstructed some of the view from Corey Hill Park, and this year the park is under construction, but you might still glimpse a bit of them. Boston's fireworks start at 10 p.m. on the esplanade and folks watch them on both sides of the river. Pro tip: Cambridge side is a bit less packed than the Boston side.

And the Boston fireworks don't start til 10:30 p.m. So, pack snacks.
