Officials Identify Suspect In 3 Hit And Runs In Brookline, Boston

Police said 46-year-old Suzanne Amer of Boston was transported to Boston Medical Center for evaluation once she was located.

BROOKLINE, MA — Massachusetts State Police have released the identity of the driver involved in three separate hit and runs the Boston area Monday morning, reported Boston 25 News.

Police said 46-year-old Suzanne Amer of Boston was transported to Boston Medical Center for evaluation once she was located and a “request for immediate threat of license suspension/revocation” form was filed with the RMV.

Amer is not in police custody at this time, said officials. However, she will be summonsed to Brookline District Court for multiple charges, including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and leaving the scene of a personal injury crash.

Brookline police released a statement Monday morning saying they were searching for the driver of a gray 2007 Volkswagen Jetta that was allegedly involved in a hit and run in Memorial Drive in Cambridge, a hit and run involving a pedestrian on Pleasant Street in Brookline, and an additional hit and run on Harvard Street in Brookline.

All three incidents occurred between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., said police. A 63-year-old man was injured in the Pleasant Street crash and was taken to a local hospital.

The case remains under investigation and no further information has been released.
