Police: Woman Stole Laptop and iPhone at Job Interview

Police believe a Boston woman left Gyu-Kaku with more than just a job offer on Monday.
Brookline Police received a call from Gyu-Kaku at 1002 Beacon Street at 12:54 p.m. on May 13 about a larceny that had taken place 15 minutes earlier. The suspect had just come in for a job interview.
After reviewing the security footage, the owner saw the suspect take a laptop and an iPhone from a table near the bar and leave the restaurant. These items belonged to an employee.

The manager said that he had interviewed the suspect and that she seemed overly nervous. At one point, the manager said he became suspicious of her
Brookline Police arrested Jazmin Adames, 21, and charged her with two counts of larceny over $250.

Brookline Police left a message on her cellphone, telling her to call the police.
