Sportscaster, Brookline Resident Bob Gamere Freed After Child Porn Sentence
Gamere must now register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Bob Gamere, a well-known Boston-area sportscaster, was released from prison this week after serving nearly five years for possession of child pornography.
The Boston Herald reported Gamere, who lived in Brookline, must now register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
He was known as the "Great Gamere" and host of "Candlepins for Cash," according to the Herald. He was also an announcer for the New York Yankees.
