Suspect with 'Weak Beard,' Red Sox Shirt Robs Brookline Bank

Brookline police said a suspect wearing a Red Sox shirt and a “weak beard” robbed Santander Bank on Harvard Street last week.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, about 30 years old, standing at least 5 feet, 8 inches with a heavy build. The robbery happened Fri., June 5 at about 2:30 p.m.

“He had a light goatee with a weak attempt to grow a beard along the jaw line,” police said in a statement.

Police said the suspect passed a note to a teller but didn’t show a weapon.
