Why 2 Drivers Were Arrested After A Fender Bender In Brookline
They could have just exchanged papers but neither of the men happened to have one key thing, according to police.

BROOKLINE, MA —Police arrested two drivers after a fender bender that might have only called for an exchanging of papers and an insurance claim unveiled that neither was driving on a valid license and both had warrants out for their arrest, according to a police report.
On Dec. 13, a tow truck driver flagged down an officer to report a car had squeezed past him and broke the truck's side mirror. The officer told the two to exchange papers and went on with a previous call. A little while later the same officer was called back to the location for a report of one person not having a drivers license.
When the Brookline officer went back to check it out, the two men he'd seen earlier were there near the corner of Dummer and Pleasant streets. The officer said one told him he didn't have a license, so the officer sent both men's names and ages to get checked in the system and it came back that both were wanted for arrest and both, it turned out, lived at the same address.
