Members also delayed a vote on new health and wellness standards, including sensitive topics like sexual health and gender expression, while highlighting recent Burlington student achievements in academics and community activities.    

3. Toronto Sceptres Re-Sign and Protect Kali Flanagan Ahead of 2026-27 Season (oursportscentral.com) — Burlington native Kali Flanagan has signed a three-year deal to remain with the Toronto Sceptres and is one of the team’s protected players for the 2026–27 PWHL season. The defender, an Olympic gold medalist and former Boston College standout, has played every game over three seasons while steadily contributing points from the blue line.    

4. DUI arrests made in Exeter (newportdispatch.com) — A Burlington man was among two people charged with DUI after a serious motorcycle crash in Exeter, New Hampshire that critically injured a Dracut rider. Police say the Burlington resident and another man from Salem were allegedly riding with the victim and are due in court next week as the investigation continues.
