Members backed new rules allowing front entries closer to lot lines and temporary signage for zoning appeals, while postponing some animal-related bylaws and hearing updates on Shawsheen Tech's budget and state zoning law changes.
   

• Simonds Park improvements and unclaimed money articles pass while two warrant articles withdrawn at annual Town Meeting (homenewshere.com) — Burlington Town Meeting approved using more than $78,000 from the Marshall Simonds trust for Simonds Park upgrades, including bathroom renovations, events, scholarships, and new treehouse amenities. Members also backed a measure on handling unclaimed town funds, while animal-control and fee-related warrant articles were withdrawn or postponed, shaping how Burlington's parks, bylaws, and finances will operate going forward.
