• Governor Healey announces money for projects in Woburn (New Boston Street 2.0) and Burlington (Middlesex Turnpike) (homenewshere.com) — Burlington is receiving over $3.2 million in state grants to upgrade pedestrian access, traffic controls, and public space on Middlesex Turnpike and to modernize sign bylaws in the Mixed Use Innovation District. The funding supports the town's first MBTA Communities Act housing project with 188 units, including affordable homes, and will guide future storefront, lighting, and wayfinding design across the district.

• Consano Bio raises over USD 15m to advance platelet-derived sciatica therapy (allsci.com) — A Burlington-based biotech firm, Consano Bio, has raised more than $15 million to advance its experimental platelet-derived treatment for chronic sciatica, adding to $45 million raised since its founding. The funding will complete an ongoing Phase I trial in Australia and the U.S. and expand the company's intellectual property, following recent FDA Fast Track designation for its lead drug candidate.
