Three love stories, a murder mystery, and a nuclear espionage plot converge in this noir comedy about marriage and other explosive devices. It's 1952: America's on the verge of the H-bomb, Dwight Eisenhower's on the campaign trail, and I Love Lucy's on Monday nights. Meanwhile, Senator Joe McCarthy's daughter just got engaged to a Soviet spy, and Boston detective Maggie Pelletier has to find out who dumped the dead guy in the Harbor—or else lose out on a honeymoon in Havana. A blunt-nosed, sharp-eyed look at love and tying (and untying, and retying) the knot.

Chris Rose directs this patchwork comedy set during the Cold War. The noir style brings the audience to meet this stellar cast featuring Jenny Fielding, Dan Murray, Jon Nuquist,

Catherine Verow Quintana, Brian Shea, and Rachael Rabinovitz.

The Burlington Players are celebrating more than 50 years as a community theater.  The group is a recent national champion of the American Association of Community Theatres, winning Best Production at AACTFest 2013 with their production of “Radium Girls”.  Next up for the Burlington Players is the season closer, “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street”. Mark the calendar for early May for Sondheim’s famous murderous musical.

Get to know the Burlington Players and have a fabulous night out at “Red Herring”.
