CAMBRIDGE, MA — A body was discovered in the water at Fresh Pond in Cambridge on Tuesday, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and the Cambridge Police Department announced.
Officers were at the scene investigating Tuesday afternoon. According to Ryan, preliminary indications suggest the body had been in the water for an extended period of time.
Authorities did not immediately release information about the identity of the person or the circumstances surrounding the death. No further information was immediately available.
