Driver Cited After Truck Crashes Into Cambridge Building

An investigation is ongoing after a truck went head-on into a structure.

CAMBRIDGE, MA — A pickup truck crashed into a building on Sunday morning, according to the Cambridge Police Department.

The crash occurred on Blake Street at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 30, when a white pickup truck struck the building. Cambridge Police Department Director of Communications Jennie Lopez told Patch that no injuries or structural damage were reported in connection with the crash.

Lopez said that the driver of the truck was cited in connection with the incident. The truck was later towed from the scene. Emergency crews initially requested a building inspector following the crash, while one person was reportedly evaluated at the scene.

Information such as the driver's identity and what caused the crash has not been revealed.
