• Federal Benefit Changes Prompt $600K Cambridge Response (patch.com) — Cambridge officials just approved $500,000, with another $100,000 from the Cambridge Community Foundation, to help residents keep SNAP and MassHealth benefits as new federal rules take effect. The funding will bolster outreach, application help, translation, and case advocacy through CEOC and more than 30 local groups, aiming to prevent eligible Cambridge households from losing food aid and health coverage.
