CANTON, MA — A popular family-owned Massachusetts bakery and breakfast spot has expanded into Canton.
Muffin House Cafe opened its seventh location on Saturday at 22 Washington St. in Cobb Corner. The cafe offers handmade muffins, cakes, pastries, coffee, breakfast sandwiches and other baked goods.
The cafe took over a former Dunkin' location, according to multiple reports.
Muffin House Cafe thanked employees and customers after a busy opening day, saying in a social media post that staff members were continuing to settle in and work through remaining details.
"We're so grateful for the warm welcome," the business said.
Sheldon and Josh Strasnick founded Muffin House Cafe in 2014, according to the company's website. The chain also operates cafes in Medway, Mendon, Natick, Hopkinton, Westwood and Walpole.
Its menu features nearly two dozen muffin flavors.
