2 Injured When Car Crashes Through Chelmsford Domino's

Police cited a driver in the crash Saturday afternoon that involved three cars, including a parked Mazda that ended up inside the store.

CHELMSFORD, MA — A parked car was pushed through the front of a Domino's Pizza in a multi-car crash that injured two of patrons inside the pizza shop.

Police said a BMW driving east on Chelmsford Street Saturday afternoon struck the rear of a Toyota Highlander, continued over a snowbank and crashed into the back of a parked Mazda 3. No one was inside the Mazda, which was pushed into the storefront.

Two people inside the restaurant were sent to Lowell General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one else was injured.

The driver of the BMW, a 46-year-old Chelmsford resident, was cited for operating to endanger.

The Domino's is structurally sound, but has been closed due to the damage sustained.
