2 Killed In Wrong-Way 100-MPH Crash In Chelmsford
State police said a car driving the wrong way on Rt. 3 collided with another vehicle overnight.

CHELMSFORD, MA – Two people were killed in a head-on crash on Rt. 3 overnight, state police said. The crash was reported shortly after 1:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the highway near Exit 32 in Chelmsford.
Police received several reports before the crash of a 2014 Nissan Altima driving over 100 mph the wrong way down Rt. 3 North, according to state police. Investigators believe the Nissan, driven by a 42-year-old woman from Nashua, NH, struck a 2010 Dodge Avenger head-on.
The driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge, a 21-year-old Hudson, NH man, was taken to Lowell General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Multiple lanes on Rt. 3 were closed for several hours Monday while police investigated.
