2 New Officers Join Chelmsford Police Department
Meet Kaleigh Yuan and Riley O'Keefe, Chelmsford's newest police officers.

CHELMSFORD, MA – Two new officers have joined the Chelmsford Police Department, Chief James Spinney announced Monday. Officers Kaleigh Yuan and Riley O'Keefe graduated from the Northern Essex Community College Methuen Police Academy on Friday, Sept. 21.
Yuan grew up in Chelmsford and has a degree in criminology from Merrimack College. O'Keefe, a Westford native, earned a bachelor's degree in special education from High Point University in North Carolina.
"I have no doubt that Officers O’Keefe and Yuan will both make immediate contributions to our community through their work," Spinney said in a statement. "I want to congratulate them on successfully completing the rigorous academy, and formally welcome them to the Chelmsford Police Department."

Both officers will now enter the Chelmsford Police Department's 12-week field training program.
