The average price was 17 cents higher this time last year.

In it’s August 18 survey of prices in Massachusetts, AAA found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.47 per gallon, down three cents from last week. Prices locally are 15 cents lower than a month ago. The current price is two cents more than the national average for self serve unleaded of $3.45.
