• Chelmsford Hires New Animal Control Officer (patch.com) — Chelmsford has appointed longtime resident and veterinary professional Melissa Glidden as its first female animal control officer, bringing 16 years of veterinary technician experience and a master's in criminal justice to the role. She will handle animal-related calls, investigate cruelty and neglect, enforce licensing and protection laws, and oversee the town's animal control shelter, strengthening services for local residents and their pets.
