β’ West Nile virus found in mosquitoes in Lowell, Chelmsford (bostonherald.com) β Mosquitoes in North Chelmsford have tested positive for West Nile virus, prompting targeted street-level spraying in town this week by the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project. State officials still rate Chelmsford's West Nile risk as moderate, and residents are urged to use repellents, eliminate standing water, and take extra precautions from dusk to dawn as mosquito season winds down.
