• West Nile virus found in mosquitoes in Lowell, Chelmsford (bostonherald.com) — Mosquitoes in North Chelmsford have tested positive for West Nile virus, prompting targeted street-level spraying in affected neighborhoods this week. State officials still rate Chelmsford's risk as moderate for West Nile and low for EEE, but urge residents to use repellents, drain standing water, and take extra care during dusk-to-dawn hours as mosquito season winds down.
