Demers (thewestfieldnews.com ) â A longtime local resident with deep ties to several Merrimack Valley parishes, including St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford, has died at age 97. Her obituary recalls decades of community service in Billerica, Westford, and beyond, and invites friends and family to a colorful, joy-filled funeral Mass in Westfield on October 23 to honor her life and legacy.
