Arrest Made In Lowell Homicide: DA
The suspect had allegedly stolen a safe and video game console from the home where a 40-year-old man died Thursday.

LOWELL, MA – An arrest has been made in an apparent homicide in Lowell, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said. Samundi Cobb, 41, of Lowell, was arraigned Friday on a charge of armed assault in a dwelling in connection with the death of 40-year-old Saro Mann on Walker Street.
Police were called to a residence Thursday around 2:40 a.m. for a report of a person with life-threatening injuries. The victim, later identified as Mann, was taken to Lowell General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators believe Mann was assaulted during a home invasion Thursday morning. He was found when a second person, who also lives at the Walker Street residence, returned home, according to the DA.
