Billerica Teen Struck by Car While on Bicycle

Police say the teen suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.

BILLERICA, MA — A Billerica teen suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car while crossing Boston Road in Billerica Thursday afternoon, according to Billerica Police Chief Daniel Rosa.

According to Rosa, police received multiple 911 calls regarding a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle at approximately 3:50 p.m. Police later learned that a 35-year-old Chelmsford woman was traveling northbound on Rte. 3A/Boston Road when she struck the 14-year-old boy.

The teen was transported to an area hospital by ambulance for serious injuries. The woman was not injured and remained on scene. No charges were filed

The woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
