Bittersweet Moments at Billerica Assembly #61
Non-profit, community service based organization for girls.

One of the most bittersweet moments in our youth organization is when our adult leadership steps down and a new Mother Advisor is installed. This past January, Mrs. Laura Fowler stepped down as Mother Advisor after serving Billerica Assembly for the last 10+ years. While Elaine Eicher agreed to move into the important role of Mother Advisor to the girls.
Both of these women have been supportive of our young ladies. They continue to help provide leadership skills, build confidence and most of be there for the girls whenever they need someone to talk to at any time of the day or night. All of the adult leaders within the organization are volunteers, who give freely of their time and support the girls in all their activities and service projects. Each adult is CORI'd to ensure safety for all our active members and they truly take pride in watching the girls grow and succeed in life.
If you know of a girl, age 11-20 that would love to learn leadership skills, grow confident and build lifelong friendships, please don't hesitate to reach out and learn more about The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. We have assemblies all over Massachusetts (and the world) and any of the girls or adults would be happy to speak to you in person to answer your questions and/or concerns. You may also learn more about our organization both through our own assembly website at www.billericarainbow.com or through our Massachusetts Grand Assembly website at www.massiorg.org. Both websites are a great starting point to learning and seeing what Rainbow is all about and how we can help your daughter grow and succeed.
