Meat Again Inc. was founded in North Billerica in 1978, after Dan O’Brien, at the age of just 26, had enough of his corporate job selling meat to restaurants, so he went out on his own.
Dan lived by one motto: “Customers above all else!” It was his belief that if he provided a neighborhood style Butcher Shop, where the customer is treated like family, and provided quality products that can’t be found in the large chain stores, customers would remain loyal. And he was right, Our customers have done just that. The stores of the plaza have come and gone, yet Meat Again remains.
Sadly, Dan passed away in October of 2010 after battling cancer, he was just 58.
Now run by his son, Kevin O’Brien, Meat Again is a meat-lovers paradise, carrying a variety of beef and poultry including steak tips, ribeye, roasts, house made sirloin patties, homemade sausages (including sweet and hot Italian) Chinese-style spare ribs, fresh kielbasa, stuffed chicken breast and more.
We also provide a full service deli, offering Boar’s Head premium cold cuts, specialty sandwiches, home made meals, soups and more. We stand by our products, as true and classic shopkeepers have always done!
