The holiday season arriving in Chelmsford means that the Chelmsford Community Band is getting out some of their favorite sheet music to usher in the holiday cheer. Join them at Chelmsford High School’s Performing Arts Center on Sunday, December 13, at 2pm for their annual holiday concert under the direction of Eric Linsner. The program features favorites like “Sleigh Ride” and “The Hallelujah Chorus,” a medley of traditional Polish carols, and a singalong. There will also be a fundraising raffle of themed Christmas trees and baked goods available to take home.
Admission to the concert is free, but donations are always very gratefully accepted so that the band can continue to operate. The CCB is a 501(c)3 nonprofit supported by grants from local businesses, arts organizations, and your contributions. The 2026-27 season has been generously aided by a Massachusetts Cultural Council grant for Creative Experiences. Suggested donations at the door are $10 for adults and $20 for families.
The Chelmsford Community Band has a 75-piece concert band and a 20-piece jazz ensemble made of dedicated volunteer musicians with a proud tradition of bringing live musical performances to this community since 1972.
