Car Stolen 9 Years Ago Pulled From Chelmsford Lake
A man with an underwater drone made quite the discovery in Freeman Lake Tuesday.
CHELMSFORD, MA — A car reported stolen nine years ago was found at the bottom of a lake in Chelmsford Tuesday. The sedan was found in Freeman Lake by a man with an underwater drone around 4:30 p.m., according to the Lowell Sun.
Police told the Sun the car was reported stolen in 2010. Emergency crews pulled the vehicle from the water and confirmed there was not a body inside.
Two fish were removed from the car and released back into the lake.
