Center Town Hall, North Town Hall Projects Wrapping Up

The is wrapping up and will be ready for a ribbon cutting on July 3 at 4:30 p.m. The ribbon cutting will be followed by the annual art show and country fair.

The North Town Hall rehabilitation project will be finished more toward the end of July. Town Manager Paul Cohen said there probably will not be a formal ceremony opening the town hall, which will be a community center, until after Labor Day.

Both projects are being paid for with money from the Community Preservation Act, a surcharge on every resident's tax bill. The money is earmarked for historical preservation, housing and open space needs of the town.
