CGC and COSS Achieve Great Things
This article describes the relationship between Chelmsford Garden Club and Chelmsford Open Space Stewards.

Chelmsford Garden Club and Chelmsford Open Space Stewards have a mutual interest in keeping our town environment safe and beautiful. They have worked together for years on many projects. COSS, an independent group of volunteers established in 2005, clears trash, keeps trails free of fallen trees and replaces worn out bridges and kiosks. They also do many projects at the Community Gardens. Chelmsford Garden Club plants colorful flowers, bushes and trees all around Chelmsford with the assistance of COSS. On May 6, 2017 President Carol Cannistraro presented a check for $500 to COSS volunteer Phil Stanway to help buy gas and supplies needed throughout the year. Working together they accomplish great things. Chelmsford Garden Club is a member of the Garden Club Federation of MA and the National Garden Clubs, Inc.
